Hardware/software required to run this course

Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0 (with service pack 5 or later recommended).  Intel Pentium Processor (minimum); 200 MHz or faster recommended.  64 MB of RAM required; 128 MB or more recommended.  130 MB of free hard-disk space (typical installation).  CD-ROM drive needed for software installation.  Microsoft Office 97 or 2000.  See your reference manual for hardware considerations that apply to your specific hardware setup.
In addition, you will need printers if you want to print the drawings created in the course.

Course description

Overview: Students will learn basic concepts for creating flowcharts, and basic network diagrams. This includes learning the basics for using and creating shapes, printing drawings, creating custom stencils, and many time-saving shortcuts and techniques designed to increase user productivity.

Prerequisites: Basic Windows knowledge and a basic understanding of drawing applications is helpful.

Delivery method: Instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.
